Letters from Within

The exhibition title “Letters from Within” refers to the connection between language as a medium in art and the exploration of communication and perception. Four artists deal with the interactions between messages, emotions and feelings, using a wide variety of media. Whether through written words, spoken language, installations in space, video performances or live actions – the artists explore a variety of ways to express linguistic codes. The boundaries between material and immaterial forms of expression are fluid. Live actions on the opening evening provide insights into the artists’ practice and you can find out more about the background to their work during an artist talk.
