The exhibition But nature is a stranger yet: explores the relationship between mankind and nature through the eyes of contemporary artists and writers from the past. The multimedia artworks share a dialogue with selected literature fragments, showing how nature remains a neverending source of great inspiration for artists. At the same time, it becomes clear how closely connected the past and present images of nature are. The exhibition explores a range of current themes and transmits a “back to nature” feeling that transcends time.
