The art scene has had enough! And enough is enough! The group exhibition is entitled “SATT”. It addresses the growing frustration and ongoing threat to artistic initiatives. Art and culture professionals are constantly confronted with existential fears. They constantly have to fight for their rights and spaces anew. How long will the status quo continue before artists have had enough?
The exhibition invites us to reflect on what it means to be fed up. It shows diverse perspectives that express feelings of frustration, inertia and disappointment in the face of the current challenges facing the art scene. As well as the passive and stagnant attitude that develops under such circumstances.
“SATT” is an outcry and a call for resistance. How can one develop from this feeling, how can one take action? The hope for change and renewed enthusiasm remains. It is once again time to resist and to become loud. It is once again time to awaken the hunger!
