The UPDATE 2025/2026 continuing education programme offers a series of free online lectures in autumn 2025 on key topics in contemporary artistic practice and professionalisation: from copyright, liability and tax to the Artists’ Social Security Fund (KSK) to art in public spaces and the realisation of exhibition projects abroad. The ‘Ask the gallerist’ format will also be back!
In February and March 2026, there will be practical workshops (in person and online) on topics such as funding opportunities, artist statements, portfolios and much more.
UPDATE is a training series for visual artists and cultural managers in cooperation with PLATFORM and the Professional Association of Visual Artists in Munich and Upper Bavaria (BBK).
The discount applies to students and BBK members.
