Artist-in-Residence and sustainable careers in the arts (in English)

How can an artist develop a sustainable career and what is the role of a residency program within it? What are the first steps an artist should keep in mind while entering the art world? How can you choose and select an artist residency? What should you keep in mind when applying? In what way can you benefit the most from this opportunity? Participating in an artist-in-residence programme can provide stability, financial income and an opportunity to grow professionally. However, there are many different types of artist residencies, and it can be difficult to stand out among applicants. This presentation will support you with the knowledge, skills and tools you need to have to start planning a sustainable career in the arts.
